Paxton

Paxton Aaron Collins was born on February 13th, 2012 at 6:58 pm. He weighed 7 pounds and was 20 1/4 inches. Paxton is a miracle. We prayed for this child and God showed up big time. You see, most people take having a baby for granted. They're never faced with the question, "what if we can't have a child?"

Not us. We never thought the day would come when we welcomed a biological child into this world. My husband, Josh, had testicular cancer when we was 18. He was on his death bed. God pulled through and saved his life because God has big plans for Josh! I just know it!! The treatment Josh took saved his life, but pretty much eliminated his ability to have children....at least medically.

We had our minds made up we would never have our own biological children. We were perfectly okay with this. We were ready to welcome children into our home and adopt them as our own. But, God had other plans that totally rocked our world. Plans to give us our own biological child, and that we will never take for granted.

So here he is. How awesome is our God and how great his faithfulness is! 

We prayed for this child, and God gave us what we asked for.
