Cloth Diapers

Paxton in his first cloth diaper at 5 weeks
Paxton won $50 in fluffy diapers from Diaper Junction
during a photo contest with this picture.
This is part of my beginning cloth diaper stash.
Before Paxton was born, I had about 16 cloth diapers.
Currently, I have just over 30.

I like to line dry my diapers. Did you know that drying 3 loads of laundry a week
will save you $10 a month? I love my umbrella close line! It's a great alternative
to a line if you don't have a lot of room. Plus, the sun is good for the diapers to help get the stains out!
This is Paxton in his BumGenius 4.0 being used as a swim diaper.
Check out my post on using a BumGenius Diaper as a swim diaper!

Why do I love using cloth diapers?
  •  It saves up to $2,000 per child!
  • It's healthier for babies. Dioxin, which in various forms has been shown to cause cancer, birth defects, liver damage, skin diseases, and genetic damage, is a by-product of the paper-bleaching process used in manufacturing disposable diapers.
  • Better for the environment! It can take up to 500 years for a diaper to decompose in a landfill.
  • They're so much cuter than 'sposies!
